The content of this site does not give a complete rundown of midwifery care with Touch of Love Midwifery, but rather is intended to give a brief overview of what care might look like with Touch of Love Midwifery. Please reach out for more information, consultation, and scheduling.

  • Prenatal visits: includes an initial visit and information packet, then monthly prenatal visits thereafter until the last five weeks of pregnancy where we will meet together more often until the birth. Prenatal visits include routine exams as well as nutritional/life-style counseling. Blood work, ultrasounds and other tests are optional, but recommended in certain cases.
  • Childbirth Education: both in literature and in private or corporate meetings/classes.
  • Birth Services: includes natural labor, birth and postpartum midwifery care/support both in the home setting and birth center setting. May also include a midwife helper/student/co-midwife. Also includes legal paperwork (birth certificate, social security) and newborn examination. Please ask for more details of specific practice and equipment.
  • Postpartum visits: this includes at least a 3-day visit (along with the heel prick for newborn screening tests), lactation support, and a 6-week checkup. I often will also do a 2-week checkup and a 1-day checkup. Pap smears are also offered at 6 weeks, but not required.
  • Phone support or consultation: for my mama's, I encourage contact by text or call 24/7 as needed.
  • Breastfeeding Support: though not a CLC, I am passionate about breastfeeding and have training to help correct most breastfeeding issues. Don't give up! Always consult!
  • Mini Store of Natural Supplements: I keep a stash of natural supplements on hand for resale, so don't hesitate to ask!
  • Blood work: if there is a need to look deeper, this is a good choice. Blood work is charged by test. Saliva tests are also an option.
  • Doula Care: in the case of a hospital birth, I offer doula support in labor and birth including C-section. All transferred mama's will get this automatically as part of midwifery care. You may also inquire about doula services as a separate service apart from midwifery.

Prenatal Home Visits: $25 (additional cost over 1 hr of driving)

Homebirth Midwifery Service including Postpartum Visits: $2,000

(Pricing may be flexible with varying situations.)
All lab work or additional services come with additional fees. Please ask for more info.
