and Congratulations to you expectant parents! Birth is such a miracle, and brings many "firsts" along with it; not just for baby, but also for parents, too. It's a little like a rose unfolding and blooming into something very beautiful: The cervix ripens and opens, and the baby moves down, down into the birth canal. Soon the head appears and the baby emerges into the outside world to join his mother on the breast. What a joy! Our Maker has created the process to work so perfectly and completely. Birth is a journey, and it requires hard work, yet, in the end is very rewarding. To have a good support team at your birth is essential for a good outcome!
